As people age the effects of gravity, exposure to the sun and stresses of the daily life can be seen in the face. Deep creases form between the nose and mouth. Wrinkles, sagging skin, laxity in the skin affect the neck. We also see wrinkles and frown lines in the brow in the forehead region as well as heavy upper eyelids. A facelift and brow lift can reverse these signs of aging. This is a cosmetic procedure that helps to restore a more youthful look.
Are you a good candidate?
A brow lift can be performed in conjunction with a facelift or eyelid surgery. This procedure is best suited for people with wrinkles in the forehead and drooping brows. Most patients for the above procedures are within their 40's and 50's, but face and brow lifts can be done successfully on people in their 70's or 80's. Both procedures can enhance your appearance by looking younger and fresher and may also enhance your self-esteem. This procedure will not give you a totally different look but just a fresher version of yourself. The brow lift provides a lift to the upper third of the face while a face lift covers the lower face and neck.
The first consultation
With Beauty Renaissance the first consultation is free of charge and is always with your surgeon who will assess and discuss your desired results.
The surgeon will also answer all your questions and discuss the expectations that the client may have regarding the procedure. Therefore, the surgeon will recommend the best solution for the procedure.
The procedure - Endoscopic Brow lift
Endoscopic brow lift is performed using a small microsurgery device with a lens and light inserted through small incisions inside the hairline. The device is connected to a video screen which allows the surgeon to visualize the procedure as it is performed. Another incision is made for the use of other instruments in order to manage the tissues of the frontal area. Micro porous tape is placed after the procedure is complete.
There is usually no significant discomfort after the procedure. If there is, it can be relieved with pain relief medication. Some numbness of the area is normal and will disappear in a few weeks or months. The head must be elevated for a few days after surgery to diminish swelling. If a drainage tube has been placed, it will be removed one or two days after surgery. Bandages are removed after 1 to 5 days. Stitches are removed for the face lift in about 7 to 10 days. The smaller incision leads to less scarring, bleeding and hair loss. Most endoscopic brow lift patients can return to work within 5 - 10 days and facelift patients can return in 2 weeks. By the third week, most of the swelling has subsided.

Here at Beauty Renaissance we uphold the highest degree of post operative quality care that goes beyond monitoring.
